No Discussions or Proposals at This Time: Peter Stano

Currently, there are no discussions within the European Union regarding the possibility of imposing personal sanctions against American journalist Tucker Carlson due to his interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This statement was made by Peter Stano, a representative of the EU's foreign policy service.

"I can say that at this moment, there are no discussions or proposals concerning sanctions against that journalist," he stated at a press conference in Brussels.

Additionally, as reported by EU spokesperson Johannes Bahrke, Brussels is also not considering options for sanctions against the X social media platform where the interview with the Russian leader will be published.

Earlier, Newsweek cited current and former members of the European Parliament, indicating that the EU could impose restrictions on Carlson within its territory.
