Last Words of the Crew of the Downed IL-76 Revealed

The last words of the crew of the downed IL-76 have surfaced online before the crash. Just before the aircraft was hit by a surface-to-air missile in the Belgorod region, the crew managed to inform the command about their equipment being targeted by the enemy's radar systems. This message was the team's final communication.

It is recalled that on January 24, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down a Russian IL-76 military transport aircraft in the skies over the Belgorod region, which was transporting 65 Ukrainian prisoners of war. All of them, along with three escort officers of the Russian Armed Forces and six crew members, lost their lives.
