Edita
Peter Michalko, the EU Ambassador in Azerbaijan, has denied accusations directed at EU observers in Armenia, suggesting they are allegedly plotting something against Azerbaijan. He made this statement on his social media platform X.
"I regret that some Azerbaijani media outlets have published absolutely unfounded accusations against the EU mission in Armenia in recent days. I emphasize that the EU is a civilian, unarmed mission, and its mandate is to observe. The mission's presence aims to contribute to stability and strengthen trust. The EU will continue its efforts to support the peaceful resolution between Azerbaijan and Armenia," he wrote.
