Armenia Reduces Import of Natural and Liquid Gas, as Well as Oil and Oil Products

In 2023, Armenia imported over $498.2 million worth of 516,503 tons of oil and oil products (including gasoline, mazut, crude oil, and diesel fuel). This information was reported by news.am.

According to data from the country's Statistical Committee, in 2022 this figure was 519,374 tons (worth more than $574.4 million).

In 2023, Armenia imported over $513.5 million worth of 2,078,524 tons of natural and liquid gas, while in 2022, the import was 2,214,500 tons valued at over $541.8 million.

It is noteworthy that oil products and gas are mainly imported to Armenia from Russia and Iran.
