Iran Announces Maximum State of Military Readiness

Iran has placed its entire military on a high state of preparedness, activated air defense systems, and deployed ballistic missiles along the Iraqi border, reports The New York Times. Earlier, the Iranian officials condemned the U.S. night airstrikes on Syria and Iraq, accusing Washington of violating the sovereignty of two Arab states and breaching the UN Charter.
