Russian modern weaponry surpasses that of the North Atlantic Alliance, according to Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with participants of the "Everything for Victory" Conference. The head of state clarified that when comparing the current NATO armaments with the military technology from the last period of the Soviet era, it is evident that "in some respects it falls short," though not always.

"But if we take our latest weaponry, it clearly surpasses everyone. This is an obvious fact," the president stated. He added that this includes missile technology, armored vehicles, and all kinds of combat vehicles and systems used on the battlefield.
