Irakli Kobakhidze Elected as Georgia's Prime Minister Candidate

The "Georgian Dream" party has elected Irakli Kobakhidze as its candidate for Prime Minister during a session of its political council and also at the party congress. Former Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has been appointed as the party's chairman.
Next week, the new Prime Minister is expected to be confirmed in parliament along with the cabinet composition.
