Snowfall in Several Regions

As of January 30 at 09:00, snowfall is being reported in the regions of Abovyan, Chambarak, Gegharkunik, Talin, Ararat, Goris, and Kapan. This information was provided by the Road Department.

According to the report, there is icy condition on the roads in the regions of Abovyan, Ashtarak, Dilijan, Vanadzor, Stepanavan, Tashir, Vayk, and Sisian. The Stepanavan mountain pass is impassable for vehicles with trailers, while the Vardenyats pass is closed to such vehicles.

It is reported that all inter-state and public roads are open. Road construction teams are carrying out clearing and sanding operations on the roadways. To avoid accidents, incidents, and traffic congestion, drivers are advised to use winter tires exclusively.
