NATO Considers Creating a 'Military Schengen'

NATO is discussing the establishment of a 'Military Schengen'. The 'Military Schengen' pertains to specific corridors through which NATO allies will be able to transport personnel and equipment to Europe without any bureaucratic obstacles, reports The Times.

Currently, negotiations are underway. The results may be published before the NATO summit in Washington, which is scheduled for July.

It has been noted that any NATO exercise always requires a detailed coordination of many aspects on paper. Military officials have repeatedly emphasized the need to enhance troop mobility and logistical support, streamline supply chains, and reduce bureaucratic procedures.
