What Weather to Expect in the Coming Days

Due to the penetration of another cyclone from the Mediterranean Sea, snow is expected across the republic on the afternoon of January 27, with intense snowfall in Shirak, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, and Vayots Dzor regions. This information comes from the Hydro-Meteorology and Monitoring Center.

In some areas of the republic, there will be a wind intensification of 15-18 m/s, and in certain mountainous areas, blizzard conditions with low horizontal visibility are anticipated. From dawn on January 28, precipitation will cease across the republic.

The air temperature will drop by 5-6 degrees on the night of January 28. In Yerevan, snow is expected during the day on January 27 and the night of January 28. Light snow may occur from January 29 to 31. On February 1, dry weather is anticipated.

On January 27, snow will fall in the entire territory of the republic, at night on January 28, and in certain regions from January 29 to 31, with blizzard conditions expected in some mountainous areas. On the day of January 28 and February 1, dry weather is expected. The wind will be north-west at 2-5 m/s, with certain areas experiencing wind intensification of 14-18 m/s on January 27. The air temperature will decrease by 5-6 degrees on the night of January 28.
