Weather Forecast in Armenia
Due to the penetration of another cyclone from the Mediterranean Sea, snow is expected across all of Armenia on January 27, with intense snowfall in Shirak, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, and Vayots Dzor. This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.
In certain areas of the republic, wind intensification of 15-18 m/s will be observed, and in some mountainous regions, blizzard conditions and low horizontal visibility are expected. Precipitation will cease in the republic from the early hours of January 28.
The air temperature will rise by 5-6 degrees Celsius during the night of January 27, and will drop by the same amount during the night of January 28.
In Yerevan, snow is anticipated on January 27, while the daytime of January 28 is expected to remain precipitation-free. Light snow may be possible from January 29 to 31.
During the day on January 27, temperatures in the capital will range from -1 to +1 degrees Celsius, and in the evening hours, temperatures will register a chill of 1-3 degrees.
