The Rescue Service reports that there are closed and hard-to-pass roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia. Due to road repair works, the section of the M-6 highway between Vanadzor and Alaverdi will be closed for buses and trucks with trailers or semi-trailers from now until February 15th. A detour road will operate via the town of Noyemberyan.

The roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to Amberd Fortress and Kar Lake are closed.

The Berd-Jambarak road (blizzard conditions) and the road from the town of Tashir to the village of Vardaghbyur in the Shirak region are also closed.

The Stepanavan and Apitak bends and the section known as "Zanger" from the village of Syunik are closed to trucks with trailers.

The Vardenyats Pass (snow, blizzard) and the Vanadzor-Dilijan road are closed to trucks with trailers and difficult to pass for other types of vehicles.

The Ararat-Alagyaz, Gogavank-Stepanavan, and Blagadar-Katnarat roads are hard to navigate for all types of vehicles.

Roads in the Syunik region, including Apna-Zilkhar and Mastara-Lanjik, are hard to pass for trucks with trailers.

Snow can be observed in the Shirak, Kotayk, Ararat regions, and in the communities of Aparan, Stepanavan, Vanadzor, Tashir, Ashtarak, Jambarak, and Jermuk.

Blizzard conditions are present in the Aparan and Aragats regions, as well as in the village of Tsaghkashat.
