Kremlin is closely monitoring global developments, says Peskov
Russia is working on a new system of economic ties, as the previous one was deemed unreliable. This was reported by The Washington Post, citing remarks from Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
The information is provided by gazeta.ru. According to Peskov, he denied that Russia is working to undermine U.S. dominance in the global financial system, but admitted that it is aimed at creating alternatives.
In Peskov's view, the actions taken by the 'collective West' undermine Moscow's trust. He stated that the Kremlin is closely monitoring global processes and is 'building a new system of economic neurons, as the previous system was unreliable, fake, and dangerous.'
Previously, the Kremlin representative had announced that the Russian economy has adapted to the conditions of the special military operation. Peskov noted that the Russian economy provides the necessary regime to continue its trajectory.
