Due to severe snowfall and blizzard conditions, the roads from Sisian to Goris (from Harjis to Goris) and from Shikhuhayr to Tatev, as well as Ttujur-Navur and Norovank-Ltsen-Tatev routes are closed to all types of vehicles.
As of January 26 at 09:15, the Gndevaz-Jermuk and Vanadzor-Dilijan road sections are closed to vehicles with trailers. The Vardenyats Pass is also closed to trailer vehicles, while other types of vehicles are experiencing difficulties traversing the area.
The Stepantsminda Pass from the Sisian crossroads to the area known as ‘Zanger’ in Sisian is difficult for trailer vehicles as well. Areas in Nairi, Stepanavan, Tumanyan, Lori, Novemberyan, Aragats, Aparan, Talin, Artik, Masis, Artashat, Ararat, Vayk, Sisian, Goris, and Kapan regions show patches of black ice on their roads.
The rest of the interstate and republican roads are open. Authorities urge drivers to be cautious, adhere strictly to traffic rules, and only use winter tires when on the road.
