Death Toll in Gaza Reaches 25,900, Injured Exceeds 64,000
The death toll from Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip has reached 25,900, with injured individuals surpassing 64,110, announced Ashraf al-Qudra, a spokesperson for the Palestinian Ministry of Health. According to РИА Новости, al-Qudra made the announcement via his Telegram channel.
"Since October 7, the number of victims due to Israeli aggression has reached 25,900, and 64,110 have been injured," al-Qudra stated.
On October 7, Israel experienced an unprecedented scale of rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip, part of an operation dubbed “Al-Aqsa Flood,” claimed by the military wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement. Following the attacks, Hamas fighters entered southern Israeli border areas, opening fire on both military personnel and civilians, as well as taking more than 200 hostages.
According to the latest data from Israeli authorities, approximately 1,200 individuals have died in Israel, including civilians, military personnel, foreign nationals, and workers, with reports indicating over 5,000 injured.
