In the Vasilyevsky Island district of Saint Petersburg, Russia, a bus has reportedly veered off the sidewalk where pedestrians were standing. The details regarding the number of injured are being clarified, according to the press service of the regional headquarters of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"On January 24, around 16:00, the regular route bus number 152, near house 38 on Bering Street, inexplicably left the sidewalk that had pedestrians on it. Information about the injured is being received," the statement said.

An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
