Turkey's Security is Our Security, the Region Must Collaborate: Raisi

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan issued statements following their bilateral meeting. According to Iranian media, Erdoğan condemned the Kerman terrorist attack, emphasizing support for Iran in its fight against terrorism. He stated, “During my meeting with Ibrahim Raisi, we discussed regional and international issues, particularly Israeli attacks. We will continue to develop our relations with Iran in accordance with the interests of our countries and our region.”

In turn, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi remarked, “As two great and powerful countries, we can solve numerous regional and global issues through our cooperation. Turkey's security is our security. The Zionists seek to divide the countries of the region, and the way to resist this is through regional collaboration.” Raisi further noted that the UN has lost its functionality.
