“Jermuk Winter,” is the title of a post made by Gagik Surenyan, Deputy Director of the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, on his Facebook page, where he also shared a video.
According to the information from the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, snow is expected in various regions of the Republic of Armenia on January 24 and 27, particularly in the evening of the 26th. On January 24, precipitation is anticipated to be intense in some areas, with blizzards, fog, and icy conditions on roads in certain mountainous regions.
Furthermore, the weather is expected to remain dry on January 25, during the night of the 26th, and on the 28th. Winds will be from the northeast at 2-5 m/s, with local gusts of 14-18 m/s expected in some places from January 24 to 27. The air temperature will gradually decrease by 7-9 degrees on the night of the 24th. Snow is also expected in Yerevan on January 24, during the night of the 25th, late evening of the 26th, and on the 27th.
