Guterres Demands Immediate Release of Hostages in Gaza
The Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, has demanded the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages in the Gaza Strip during a meeting of the UN Security Council.
“I again call for the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages. At the same time, they must be treated humanely, and the Red Cross must be allowed to visit and assist them,” said Guterres.
