Intense Snow and Blizzard: Weather Forecast for the Next 5 Days

Due to the penetration of a cyclone from the southwest and the subsequent influx of arctic cold air currents from the northwest, snow is expected across the entire territory of the Republic, including Yerevan, during the day on January 23 and on the 24th. In some areas, the snow will be intense, while in mountainous regions, blizzards and low horizontal visibility are anticipated. Especially at night and in the early morning hours, black ice is expected on the roads of the Republic.

The Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center has reported that the air temperature will continue to drop by another 7-9 degrees Celsius during the day on January 23 and at night on the 24th.

In Yerevan, snow is expected during the day on January 23, on the 24th, at night on the 25th, in the late evening of the 26th, and on the 27th. No precipitation is forecasted for the day on January 25, at night on the 26th, and on the 28th.
