Argument in Charentsavan: 23-Year-Old Youth Fires Air Shot from Gas Pistol

An argument occurred between five young men from Charentsavan in the yard of one of the city’s event halls, during which they exchanged blows with each other. A 23-year-old youth fired a shot into the air from a gas pistol. This was reported by the Armenian police.

The incident took place on January 20 at approximately 21:20. Following explanatory work by the officers of the Charentsavan police department, the 23-year-old presented himself to the department, bringing the gas pistol with him. He, along with the relevant documentation, was referred to the Charentsavan investigative department.

A criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of hooliganism, and as a result of the measures taken, the other four participants of the incident were arrested on suspicion of hooliganism and taken to the Charentsavan police department. They were also referred to the Charentsavan investigative department. The pre-investigation is ongoing.
