Iran Will Not Allow Any Side to Carry Out Dangerous Actions at the Border, Defense Minister
Iran is fiercely and without any reservations defending its national interests and people, stated Defense Minister Mohammad Reza Ashtiani following a series of missile strikes against ISIS terrorist group targets and Israeli intelligence Mossad centers in Syria and Iraq. This was reported by tasnimnews.com.
In response to journalists' questions about the missile strikes carried out early Tuesday morning by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on targets in Syria's Idlib and Iraq's Erbil, Iran's Defense Minister said, “We do not set limits on our actions aimed at defending our national interests and people, and we will take such measures forcefully.”
Reaffirming Iran's respect for the sovereignty, interests, and regulations of other states, Ashtiani remarked that Iran will not allow any side to undertake dangerous actions at the border. “We will respond to threats directed at the Islamic Republic of Iran from any territory,” he emphasized.
