Interior Minister Denies Reports of Tensions with Deputies

Interior Minister Vahe Ghazaryan has denied reports circulating in the media regarding tensions with his deputies. He made this statement during a press conference summarizing the year 2023.

There have been reports in the press suggesting that Deputy Minister Arpine Sargsyan is seeking to take over the directorship. Media outlets have linked her increased activity in the information space to this ambition.

The Minister emphasized that constructive, friendly, and professional relationships exist between him and his subordinates, stating that none have shown interest in his position. “My relationships with all my deputies and subordinates are good. After all, no one holds their chair permanently. One day we come, and one day we will leave,” he announced.

Arpine Sargsyan also confirmed the Minister's words, stating that such discussions are merely gossip and bear no relation to reality.
