France Will Provide Long-Term Support to Ukraine, Says Foreign Minister

The new head of France's foreign affairs, Stéphane Séjourné, arrived in Ukraine on his first visit since taking office and promised continued support to Kyiv from Paris, BFMTV reports.

It was reported yesterday that Séjourné traveled to Poland before heading to Kyiv later. The visit is symbolic and aims to "establish France and Europe’s support and commitments to Ukraine."

"I have come here to announce that France will provide long-term support to Ukraine in economic, military, and humanitarian terms," the minister was quoted as saying by the television channel. Before a planned meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky, Séjourné stated that French representatives will conduct "a number of visits" to understand what Ukrainians need today.
