Edgar Sevakyan to Change Club

FC Nizhny Novgorod player Edgar Sevakyan will transfer to Ferencváros. This was reported by 'Championat,' referencing its sources.

It is indicated that the Hungarian club has activated actions to purchase the player's contract. There were discussions that the player was considering a transfer to Krasnodar; however, Ferencváros has convinced the midfielder.

The general director of Nizhny Novgorod, David Melik-Huseynov, previously stated that the likelihood of Sevakyan moving to another European club is high. Reports had earlier indicated that Krasnodar and French club Nantes were interested in the services of the Armenian national team player.

'He will head to another European league. We have also spoken with Russian clubs, but the player really wants to play in Europe. Everything depends on Edgar and his family’s wishes. There is currently an agreement regarding his transfer; this club is not from the top-5 leagues,' said the club president to СЭ.
