Lukashenko Says the World is on the Brink of 'Horrific Events'
The coming year will be challenging and "noisy," as the world is on the brink of "horrific events," stated Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
“I want to warn you. The world is on the threshold of horrific events. We are in such a difficult situation today that it feels like we are walking on thin ice. One careless step, and we could drown and topple the state; therefore, this year will be very difficult. Given all the events, it must be very noisy,” Lukashenko's remarks were quoted by the BelTA news agency.
The Belarusian leader pointed to the ongoing relentless efforts by the United States to "lead the entire world, as it did after the collapse of the Soviet Union."
“Ukraine, the Middle East, and today already at the borders of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans, the Houthis... Demonstrative bombings are taking place...,” said Lukashenko, adding, “the entire planet could ignite. This must not be allowed.”
