Video: Armed Individuals Storm Ecuadorian Television Station and Take Hostages

Armed individuals have taken hostages from the TC Televisión broadcasting studio during a live broadcast in Ecuador. This was reported by the newspaper El Universo.

Footage released by media shows six masked men directing their firearms at the channel's employees lying on the floor.

Earlier, a state of emergency and a curfew were declared in the country to restore order in prisons where disturbances had occurred.
