Christmas Tree Installed on the Bottom of the Black Sea

A Christmas tree adorned with festive ornaments has been set on the bottom of the Black Sea near the shores of Crimea. Organizers of the event informed RIA Novosti about this initiative.

"A two-meter tree has been submerged at a depth of five meters from the eastern coast of the peninsula. This year, the water is quite warm, around 10-11 degrees Celsius," said a spokesperson from the agency.

The event saw the participation of ten divers who decorated the artificial tree with Christmas ornaments and hung a hermetic garland.
