Our Goal Must Be That Armenians Can Live in Artsakh: Gagik Tsarukyan
Today our life is an open wound, we have lost Artsakh, we have over 100,000 refugees, and we have compatriots in the forts of Baku. Seeing all this, we have nothing to summarize today. This was stated by the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, Gagik Tsarukyan, during an exclusive interview with the ‘PressCenter’ program.
“The current status is very complicated; at any moment the status can change. This New Year, we must ask God not to turn His face away from us,” he said.
According to him, our main goals for the upcoming year should be to ease the tensions at the borders and to exclude a new war. “Our other goal must be that our Armenians can live in Artsakh. And in Armenia, we must be able to organize a dignified life for our compatriots from Artsakh. This will be our upcoming objectives,” he stated.
He noted that we need peace and solidarity, standing side by side in difficult conditions to achieve success. “If the need for peace and solidarity requires that parties dissolve, then they must dissolve, because we are losing a state,” Tsarukyan emphasized.
