38 Fishing Nets with 65 kg of Fish Removed from Lake Sevan

In light of the sturgeon spawning season, measures for monitoring continue in the territory of the "Sevan" National Park, where illegal fishing gear is being removed from the lake. This was reported by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia.
On December 27, as a result of joint oversight measures carried out by the special forces of the "Sevan" National Park, the Water Patrol Service, and representatives of the Environmental and Mining Inspectorate, 38 fishing nets were removed from different parts of Lake Sevan, containing 65 kg of sturgeon fish. 100 fish were returned to the lake alive.
