Will the Electricity Tariff Change in Armenia?

The electricity tariff will not change starting February 1, 2024. This decision was confirmed by the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia at its session today.

It is important to note that the tariffs in the system vary depending on the voltage received by consumers, and for households, they also depend on monthly electricity consumption (up to 200 kWh per month, 200-400 kWh, and above 400 kWh).

For businesses, the lowest tariff applies to 110 kW consumers (approximately 1 kWh during the day at 41.98 drams, at night 37.98 drams), while the tariff for small businesses consuming 220 kW will be 53.48 and 43.48 drams.

For vulnerable families, the tariff will be 29.99 and 19.99 drams. For families consuming up to 200 kWh, the cost per kWh will be 46.48 and 36.48 drams, while for consumers using 200-400 kWh, it will be 48.48, and for those consuming 400 kWh, the rate will be 38.48 drams.
