Emergency Situation: Nearly 300 Vehicles Stranded as Traffic from Aragatsotn to Lori Halted for Over 1.5 Hours

Today, an emergency situation continues from Aragatsotn Province towards Lori Province. Nearly 300 vehicles are unable to move. This has been reported by Shamshyan.com.

Due to heavy snowfall, blizzards, and freezing temperatures, traffic has been temporarily halted for over 1.5 hours on the section of the road leading from the village of Tsilkqar to the winding roads of Spitak in Lori Province. The reasons include the heavy snow, strong winds, freezing conditions, and the poor and careless work of the road maintenance services.

It has been noted that for several days, only the patrol officers of the Aragatsotn Provincial Internal Affairs Ministry's Police have promptly assisted the stranded drivers. Rescuers and patrol officers have managed to pull out over 25 vehicles from the snow, while rescuers have transported more than 20 people to safe points.
