Snow, Blizzard in Some Areas: Gagik Surenyan on Weather Forecast

Gagik Surenyan, the deputy director of the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center, shared weather forecasts on his Facebook page.

He stated, "The Armenian Ministry of Environment's Hydromet service reports that on December 23 and 24, after noon and towards the evening, snow is expected in Shirak, Lori, the foothills of Tavush, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor, and in the foothills of Syunik. Isolated areas may experience wind gusts of 20-25 m/s, blizzard conditions, and black ice on the roads. In Yerevan, precipitation will fall as wet snow in the high-altitude areas and as a rain-snow mixture in the lowland areas," he wrote.
