If It Turns Out That Fake, Fabricated Transactions Occurred in Stepanakert, We Will Go After Them Without Concessions - Gevorg Papoyan

If a person has gone to take out a loan and bought a house in Stepanakert, or wanted to establish a business, I believe we should support that citizen and also support the bank that granted the loan to that citizen.

This was stated by ruling party MP Gevorg Papoyan during his speech in the National Assembly.

“But at the same time, whenever it is revealed that a fake and fabricated transaction has taken place, for example, if they acquired land worth 100 million drams but reported only 1 million drams in payment, we will go after that, we will take back those 900 million drams, and of course, there will be no concessions, and this is obvious.

We have no time limitation; whether we discover it in a week, a year, or ten years, we will expose it,” said Papoyan.

He considered the discussed project to be quite balanced.

“The public, society, the state, and the banks are taking on that burden to support the Armenian population of Artsakh, thereby also supporting our statehood and economy. But the law enforcement system has a serious job to do here,” stated Gevorg Papoyan.
