Due to Heavy Snow, Trucks Blocked; Ministry of Emergency Situations Provides Assistance

On December 21, at 14:36, a call was received at the crisis management center of the Lori regional rescue department regarding trucks being blocked at the intersection of the village of Harjis due to heavy snow. The vehicles were unable to continue their journey, requiring the assistance of rescuers. This information was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A firefighting-rescue team from the Ministry's regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. Rescuers towed two blocked trucks for about 1 km, allowing them to continue their journey.

It is noteworthy that earlier, the Road Department had informed that the M-2 interstate highway from Harjis to the Shinhayr intersection was closed for vehicles with trailers due to heavy snowfall.
