Yerevan Municipality Issues Safety Warning

Despite the safety measures implemented by the Yerevan Municipality and the contracting organizations, the Yerevan Municipality urges and requires everyone to follow basic safety rules to avoid possible accidents. This is particularly emphasized for the day of the city’s New Year lighting, which is set for December 19, and the following days. Citizens are advised not to touch the holiday decorations and lighting equipment that are connected to electricity.

“At the same time, we invite everyone to visit the scenic spots created in the city center and administrative districts, as well as the park dedicated to the 2750th anniversary of Yerevan, where the Christmas market will be held,” the statement says.
