UEFA Futsal Champions League Final to be Held in Yerevan for the First Time
The Football Federation of Armenia's bid has been recognized as the winner over competing bids from the football federations of Greece, Lithuania, Poland, Spain, and Switzerland. Thus, for the first time, a European cup final in any sport will be hosted in Armenia.
The 'Final Four' of the Futsal Champions League will feature Spain's Barcelona and Palma Futsal, as well as Portugal’s Sporting and Benfica. It is noteworthy that the current champion of the UEFA Futsal Champions League, Palma Futsal, includes national team goalkeeper Luan, who was named the best futsal player of the 2023 UEFA Futsal Champions League Final tournament.
The semifinals will take place on May 3, with the third-place match and final scheduled for May 5. All matches will be held at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex.
