Accident Involving Passenger Gazelle and 06 Leaves 15 Injured

Today, on December 17, a major traffic accident occurred in the Tavush region. Around 12:00 PM, on the 130th km stretch of the Ijevan-Sevan-Yerevan highway, within the administrative territory of Ijevan, a passenger Gazelle serving the Ijevan-Dilijan route collided with a VAZ 2106 vehicle.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the crash, 15 people with bodily injuries were transported to the Ijevan Medical Center. A criminal case has been initiated by the investigative department regarding the accident, where the identities of the injured parties are being clarified.

According to G. Shamshyan's reports, the Gazelle was driven by 59-year-old Galust Margaryan, a resident of Yerevan, while the 06 vehicle was operated by 58-year-old Garegin Harutyunyan, a resident of the Tavush region.
