Putin's 1990s Business Card to Be Auctioned in St. Petersburg
A business card belonging to Russian President Vladimir Putin, printed in the 1990s when he was working in the Leningrad City Council as a Popular Deputy, will be auctioned in St. Petersburg. The card features phone numbers handwritten by Putin himself during the 1990s, along with his title at the time as an advisor for international relations in the Leningrad City Council.
The auction is scheduled for December 24. This is not the first instance where Putin's business cards have been put up for sale. In 2019, another card that he used while chairing the external relations committee of the St. Petersburg City Hall was offered with a starting price of 2 million rubles. He held that position from 1991 to 1996. Previously, a business card from the same period was sold for 950,000 rubles.
