Famous Singer Tatul Avoyan's Son Injured in Hit-and-Run in Yerevan

In Yerevan, around 02:00 AM, 21-year-old Henrik Khachatryan, a resident of Armavir province, left his lane while driving a Mercedes and struck 29-year-old Frunze Avoyan, a resident of Yerevan, near 31a Tigran Mets Avenue. After the collision, he continued forward and hit a fast food kiosk in the area before partly veering onto the sidewalk and crashing into a tree.

According to Shamshyan.com, a criminal case has been initiated in connection with the incident. The driver underwent a sobriety test at the scene and was found to be intoxicated. Reports indicate that the victim of the hit-and-run is the son of famous singer Tatul Avoyan, and his life is not in danger.

The fast food kiosk incurred significant material damage due to the accident.
