VIDEO: Georgia Celebrates Its EU Candidate Status

In Tbilisi, celebrations are underway for Georgia receiving candidate status for EU membership. Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has invited everyone to join in commemorating this historic event. Even before the start of the ceremony, some members of the Georgian Dream party expressed hope for the participation of opposition representatives: "Anyone with a conscience who wants to be part of this process, we are waiting for them. We were expecting the opposition in the working groups, especially since we won, the Georgian people have won, and we have rightfully received candidate status, so let them come and celebrate."
