Navalny Transferred to Special Regime Colony, Supporters Say
Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny's supporters claim that law enforcement is transferring him to a special regime colony. However, the specific location of this facility remains unknown.
Reports indicate that there are 30 such prisons in Russia, where, according to law, life sentences or the most dangerous criminals serve their time. It should be noted that in these detention centers, inmates are under heightened surveillance, and disciplinary cells may have double-barred confinement, with inmates almost entirely deprived of the right to visits or correspondence.
It is worth recalling that the court sentenced Navalny to 19 years in a special regime colony on charges of creating and financing an extremist organization.
