Major Accident in Yerevan: Bus Collides with 10 Vehicles

A significant incident occurred today in Yerevan. Around 14:00, a Zhong Tong bus serving route 18, registered under the Yerevan municipality, collided with several vehicles on Koryun Street, including a Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota Camry, Suzuki, Nissan Tida, BMW, Nissan March, as well as other makes including Toyota, Chevrolet, Nissan, and Hyundai.

As a result of the accident, the bus driver was rescued by citizens and a team of emergency doctors from the Yerevan 1-03 ambulance service, and was transported to the Heratsi University Hospital.

A criminal case has been initiated within the investigative department regarding the accident, where the identities of the driver and the owners of the damaged vehicles are being clarified.

The police service and the investigative department received information indicating that the driver's condition deteriorated while operating the bus, which caused the accident.

Representatives from insurance companies have also arrived on the scene.
