Biden Ready to Propose F-16 Fighter Jets for Turkey, Erdoğan Says

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has announced that his American counterpart Joe Biden is prepared to present a proposal to Congress for selling F-16 fighter jets to Turkey.

It is worth noting that in July 2022, the U.S. House of Representatives made an amendment to the defense budget that prohibits the U.S. administration from selling new F-16 aircraft and their modernization components to Turkey as long as the country continues to violate Greek airspace.
