No one’s statement can dissolve the Republic of Artsakh, Serzh Sargsyan

The statement by Samvel Shahramanyan regarding the dissolution of the Republic of Artsakh means nothing. This was stated today, December 14, in a conversation with reporters outside the court by the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan.

“In other words, can the Republic of Armenia be dissolved by someone’s statement? No one’s statement can dissolve the Republic of Artsakh,” he said.

Addressing the activities of the Artsakh authorities in Armenia, he noted, “First, the Artsakh authorities have not dissolved; secondly, everything is to be expected from these authorities. What does it mean that they are being dissolved? Let’s assume they are being dissolved, but they are not going to be eternal, are they? This, of course, also very much depends on the people who have been forcibly displaced to Armenia. If they do not wish to, then nothing will be possible to do.”
