Azerbaijani Killer Proud of ‘Spilling Armenian Blood’ Welcomed Like a ‘Hero’: Lindsay Snell
Journalist Lindsay Snell has addressed the exchange of captives between Armenia and Azerbaijan on her social media platform, stating that “Azerbaijani murderer Huseyn Akhundov was welcomed in Azerbaijan as a ‘hero.’”
“Huseyn Akhundov, who crossed the border into Armenia and killed an Armenian civilian, then recorded a video on his victim's phone about ‘spilling Armenian blood,’ was welcomed in Azerbaijan like a hero,” she wrote.
Along with her post, she shared a video in which Huseyn Akhundov is surrounded by dozens of journalists, and he states that he feels good and is happy to have returned to his homeland.
It is noteworthy that he has been charged with seven articles of the Criminal Code of Armenia, including illegal crossing of the border with a weapon, roaming unimpeded through villages in Syunik, threatening a resident of Sisian, and ultimately killing 56-year-old Hayrapet Meliksetyan, a security employee of the Zangezur Combine.
