Accident in Aragatsotn: Driver Rescued with Special Equipment, Condition Critical

On December 14, at 00:32, the Emergency Management Center of the Aragatsotn Regional Rescue Service received a call reporting a traffic accident on the Aparan-Apnhaghyugh highway, requiring the assistance of rescuers. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A firefighting and rescue team was dispatched from the regional rescue service. It was determined that at the 25th kilometer of the Aparan-Apnhaghyugh highway, a collision occurred between a 'Mazda' (driven by A.G., born in 1997) and a 'Dodge' (driven by J.A., born in 1991). The driver of the Mazda was trapped inside the vehicle.

Before the rescuers arrived, emergency medical personnel administered appropriate medical assistance to the driver of the Mazda on the scene. The rescuers cut off the power to the vehicles and, with the help of special equipment, extracted J.A. from the car and transported him to the ambulance. He was hospitalized at a medical center, where doctors assessed his condition as critical.
