Ukrainian Security Council Secretary Criticizes NATO Training Manuals
After an unsuccessful counteroffensive, the Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, Oleksiy Danilov, stated that it is time to send NATO's outdated "training manuals" regarding combat operations to the archives.
In an interview with British television, Danilov described the situation at the front in Kyiv as "very difficult" and emphasized that the combat operations, including NATO's outdated "training manuals," "should be sent back to the archives." He also admitted that the hopes for Kyiv's counteroffensive did not materialize.
However, Danilov did not answer the question of when Kyiv would attempt a counteroffensive again, and expressed confidence that the U.S. would confirm financial assistance to Ukraine. "If it happens that we get a gift before Christmas, we will be happy for that... If it happens a bit later, we shouldn't make a tragedy out of it," he added.
