Court Decides to Deport Children and Their Parents Who Extinguished the Eternal Flame with Snow in Russia

The Krasnoselsky District Court of St. Petersburg has decided to deport children and their parents who extinguished the Eternal Flame with snow. This was reported by the city court's unified press service, according to RBC.

According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, the court has upheld the police's request to deport two families.

It has been reported that the 11-year-old child who extinguished the Eternal Flame is currently in a temporary detention center for juvenile offenders. In addition to deportation, all individuals involved have been fined 5,000 rubles.

Earlier, it was reported that children in St. Petersburg extinguished the Eternal Flame. The police determined that three teenagers aged between 10 and 14 were involved in the incident, with one of them extinguishing the Eternal Flame by throwing a snowball at it. This incident was recorded by street surveillance cameras.
