What is the Main Issue for Washington and London: Maria Zakharova

Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated that chaos currently reigns within the European community. In an exclusive interview with a correspondent from "Vesti Krym," she remarked:

“The West is not homogeneous. It is very important to understand that there are regimes and those making decisions directed against our country. On the other hand, there are people, there is civil society, some of which is subject to horrific, false, and distorted propaganda. The others resist, knowing history, having the opportunity to utilize different sources and compare. The West is different in that Washington and London are on one side, while the European Union is on the other. The challenges from the former are aimed, if not directly overtly, then indirectly, at leading the EU community to strategic defeat.”
